The Eagle/Austin-Western overhead eccentric jaw crusher line is the best solution for primary crushing applications
that involve extremely hard or abrasive feeds or require a sized product with minimum fines. The unique overhead eccentric design is superior to the “straight-line” action of the swing-jaw type crusher because of its powerful “force-feed” crushing action with two strokes for each revolution on the flywheel.

This minimizes compaction and keeps the discharge materials flowing freely, which in turn significantly increases output, lowers cost per ton, reduces wear, and allows the crushing of a wider range of materials. The Eagle/Austin-Western jaw crusher line is engineered to eliminate crusher strain caused by excessive stress that can cause premature failure from fatigue.

Full-length, solid frame and one-piece carbon steel side plates are joined with multiple welds, providing strength and durability.
• Every frame is inspected and machined to ensure precise alignment of shaft, jaws, and toggle seats.
• High-carbon rolled steel toggle plates and seats eliminate overstressing of pitman, pitman shaft, and bearings.
• Full-length, deep-ribbed jaw dies are reversible to ensure maximum wear life and are designed for proper seating and maintaining a tight nip angle.
• Simplified shim adjustments allow the discharge opening size to be changed in a matter of minutes.
• Exclusive stroke adjustment allows two different stroke lengths by simply inverting the toggle seat.
• Full 360° support at the bearing ensures maximum bearing life, with outer bearings mounted directly in line with the side
frames to eliminate stress.
• One-piece, full-width shims of uniform thickness equally distribute stress.
• Double-action crushing reduces compaction and delivers the highest production per horsepower hour.
• Short bearing span reduces shaft deflection and bearing stress.
• Open top design provides unobstructed access to crushing chamber.
• Crusher features spherical roller bearings and QD-type hub flywheels.
