The intermediate shaft allows the disassembly of the transmission gear without dismantling the motor.

Lubrication Systems of Gyratory Crushers
Oil supply unit for the circulating lubrication, oil cleaning and cooling as well as the main shaft hydraulics. Two pumps each (one of which on stand-by) are provided for the lubrication system as well as for the cleaning and cooling system to achieve a high availability.
