Drills, loaders, dozers and dumper trucks are used for removing overburden. Barytes won from benches using jackhammers is loaded mainly on to the trucks. Barytes is milled in crushing/grinding plants before marketing. Barytes is exported from Chennai Port, 100 km from the mine.
