Concrete Screening Process
The waste concrete processing is not quite different from that of concrete aggregates making. The waste concrete is firstly crushed into large concrete materials, and then transported by a truck to stock ground which is normally situated near the reconstruction project in order to save transport cost. The concrete materials are then crushed by jaw crusher and cone crusher , and screened by vibrating screen .
For cement concrete pavement recycle, at least 75% of the materials should be crushed into small grains. The surface of the pavement concrete should be reduced into grains less than 7.5cm in size, the interlayer of the pavement concrete into grains less than 22.5cm in size, and the basement materials into grains less than 37.5cm in size. In order to control crushed concrete granularity, you will need screening equipments to separate coarse particles from the product. grains of required size are moved to the following process, while the large one will be sent back to concrete crushers for further crushing.
