A crushing plant invested by Chinese Government intends to crush Granite Stones for road construction. The detailed requirements are as following:
Raw material: Granite
Feeding Size: 800mm Output size: 0-5mm, 5-20mm, 20-40mm
PRODUCTION PROCESS
The raw materials are unloaded by trucks into the primary hopper. By vibrating, the raw materials are regularly fed into Primary jaw crusher which could reduce 800mm stones into approx.150mm. The half-finished products from Jaw Crusher will be conveyed by Belt conveyor . #1 and piled up into the storage hopper. Another vibrating feeder under the pile also feeds stones regularly into Belt Conveyor #2. By conveying, the stones are now fed into cone crusher S51″. After crushing by S51″, through Belt Conveyor #3 & #5, the materials are conveyed into Vibrating Screens to be separated as 0-5mm, 5-20mm, 20-40mm and +40mm. The substandard Stones which are bigger than 40mm return into Cone Crusher S36″ by Belt Conveyor #4 for further crushing, and the rests are piled by Belt Conveyor #6. Scraps from grate of the primary vibrating feeder are conveyed by Belt Conveyor #7 as another pile.

Case Study
A quarry operator in the UAE needed to expand their crushing and screening plant in order to cope with an increase in chip and sand demand from the market.
Material is granite. They already have one primary and a secondary crusher. Material comes out from the impact above 20mm. the secondary crusher was being operated at very tight settings, but still was unable to cope with the fines requirements. Final products they required is 0-5mm; 5-10mm; 10-20mm (total 3 products).
Solution
After consultation with NFLG Mineral’s engineer, they would like to add a B Series Deep Rotor VSI-7611 in the existing plant. This machine will carry the material from the existing plant of (20-40mm) and reduce it to 0-5mm; 5-10mm; 10-20mm.
The B-VSI is designed to produce very good particle shape and a high preparation of fines. After commissioning, the capacity of up to 150TPH easily, which exactly meet the quarry owner’s initial plan.
Advantage of B-Deep Rotor VSI Crusher
Rotor is the heart of VSI, the success of NFLG B-VSI attributes to the application of new technology for its deep rotor.
The deep rotor is about 50% greater than that of normal rotor, which means there is a greater space between distributor and feed eye ring, as well as between the upper and lower wearing plates. Capacity in this way improves at least 30% then the traditional VSI crusher.
