The Nordberg heavy-duty pan feeder is designed for metering flow of material in applications involving severe loading and heavy burdens. Either mild steel or AR steel abrasion resistant liners are normally used to protect the pan.
The vibrating assembly which is connected directly to the pan assures positive action under the most adverse of loading conditions.
Features include solid crushed eccentric exciter shaft, coil spring supports and stress relieved feeder body. Components are huck bolted for vibration secure fastening.
Standard Nordberg heavy-duty pan feeders are available in sizes ranging from 18” wide x 6’ long to 7’ wide x 24’ long.
Nordberg Heavy-Duty Vibrating Grizzly Feeders
The Standard Nordberg heavy-duty grizzly feeder is a heavy-duty pan feeder with grizzly section(s) following the pan surface. It is intended for impact loading and large burdens common in the feeding and scalping of ROQ (run of quarry) and ROM (run of mine) material prior to crushing and/or conveying. Maximum lump sizes accommodated can range up to 6’ cubes.
The grizzly feeder design incorporates three elements… a deep sided feeder trough referred to as the pan followed by one or two grizzly sections, a vibrator assembly imparts a vigorous straight line motion directly to the feeder pan and grizzly section(s).
Options include mild steel or AR steel replaceable liners, fixed or adjustable grizzly bars, single and double step grizzly sections proceed and following grizzly sections are also available on request.
Heavy-duty grizzly feeders are available in sizes ranging from 2’ wide x 8’ long to 7’ wide x 25’ long.
