WILL REBEL CRUSHER® HANDLE RE-BAR AND WIRE MIXED IN MATERIAL?
YES. However, steel will reduce the life of any crusher and its wear parts. In all crushing operations it is recommended
that the material be prepared and sizes properly before introducing it into the crusher. Re-bar and wire should be trimmed with a torch or shear as best as possible and should not exceed 24″ in length.
WILL REBEL CRUSHER® HANDLE WOOD, SHEETROCK AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS?
YES AND NO. All rock crushers prefer to have material that is brittle.Wood is normally ground rather than crushed. However, the occasional pieces of wood, sheetrock, etc. should be no problem.
IF I SET THE CRUSHER AT ONE INCH (1″) DESIRED OUTPUT SIZE, WILL IT MAKE 100% ONE INCH(1″) MINUS MATERIAL?
NOT EXACTLY. All crushers will make a great deal of material at the desired output size. However, the occasional unwanted larger piece may pass through. In the case of the jaw, it will crush to the discharge setting and then open slightly larger. The use of a screen after any crusher is the only true way to ensure all the material crushed is the exact size you desire. The REBEL CRUSHER® comes standard with a screen therefore regulating size of material is no problem.
TYPICAL PRODUCTION RATES BASED ON AVERAGE RESULTS
*Note: production rates may vary considerably based on numerous factors including but not limited to input size, closed side setting, moisture content, type of material, weight of material, gradation, etc. REBEL CRUSHER® may be equipped with a scalping screen prior to the crusher. If so, overall production will increase since material will by-pass the crusher and be discharged onto the side conveyor . The overall production would then be calculated on the side conveyor plus the front conveyor. Example: 20 Yards per hour side discharge plus 50 yards per hour front discharge equals 70 yards per hour overall production.
