The Masonville Stone Quarry is located approximately 18 miles west of Interstate 25 by taking Exit 265, Harmony Road, through south Fort Collins, Colorado. From the Harmony Road exit, turn west and travel approximately 6.7 miles where Harmony Road turns into West County Road 38E. Continue west past Horsestooth Reservoir for approximately 9.4 miles to Masonville, Colorado and the intersection with North County Road 27, Buckhorn Road. Turn south and travel approximately 2.25 miles to the intersection with North County Road 29. The Quarry is located at the southwest corner of this intersection.

Approaching the quarry from Loveland, Colorado, you would travel approximately 13 miles from Interstate 25. From Exit 257, Eisenhower Blvd / US 34, travel west for approximately 10.4 miles (through Loveland) to North County Road 27. Turn north and travel for approximately 3 miles to the intersection with North County Road 29.

This profitable enterprise consists of 28± deeded acres with 9.4 acres permitted for surface mining of sandstone (silica, stone, quartzite). Historically, the owner employs three people during the winter months and up to five people during the summer. The entire north end of the property has been mined and reclaimed. The quarry provides various types of stone including sandstones, which is mined and stockpiled to provide the products throughout the year. There is currently a lease in place which provides an additional $24,000± each year for rejected stone. The lease could transfer with the sale of the property or the buyer could choose to cancel the lease. Historically, the quarry is an excellent income-producer. Income figures for the past six years shall be provided to interested, qualified buyers. The rock and stone found in the Masonville Stone Quarry is part of the Morrison Formation.
